Riad is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment. He is registered with the Mauritius Institute of Professional Accountants, both as a professional and public accountant. Riad is a member of the Mauritius Institute of Directors.

Riad has over 25 years of professional experience in financial services. His experience ranges from accounting, auditing, tax compliance, consulting, fund administration and fund accounting, fund structuring and secretarial..

He gathered his experience with 9 years at PwC Mauritius and 12 years with a leading fund administrator.

He holds directorship in investment managers/advisors and collective investment schemes (open ended and closed ended funds), both listed and unlisted. He has been the Executive Director of one of the major fund administrators in Mauritius, which is a subsidiary of a listed conglomerate.
